Melon Agua Fresca – It’s Like Mineral water, But Fresher!

Agua Fresca” results in “Fresh H2o,” which is type of crazy, since it’s made mostly from fruits. Sometimes I do comprehensive analysis into why something has a certain name, but this time, because it's too awesome to remain within browsing on a computer, I’m just going to take a position.
I’m wondering that back in the day before contemporary water system and fridge, water may not have always been the best flavored drink around. Consuming bottles and alcohol all day is a amazing substitute, but not actually when you have things to do, and powers to develop.
So, they took some dull, tepid water, and freshened it up with some awesome cool, lovely clean fruit. You have to confess, that appears to be fairly possible. Anyway, that’s my tale and I’m adhering to it. The main point here is, there’s really nothing quite as regenerative and relaxing on a extreme summer time day. I wish you give this delightful agua fresca a try soon. To make 2 quarts Watermelon Agua Fresca:
5-6 cups freshly scooped watermelon
2 cups cold water
enough simple sugar syrup to sweeten to taste (recipe as follows)
Simple Syrup:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
(you can make any amount by simply using a 1 to 1 ratio, and heating until the sugar dissolves)
