POL costs to be cut if rupee continues to be stable

ISLAMABAD - Due to loss of oil costs in worldwide industry, Ogra is set to recommend govt to decrease oil costs for Sept.
According to resources, if rupee stayed constant against money and if govt accepted the OGRA suggestions, cost of hi-octane is predicted to decrease by Rs 3.68 per litre, diesel fuel by Rs 2.23 per litre, fuel by Rs 2.78 per litre and oil oil by Rs 2 per litre. If accepted, the per litre cost of fuel would fall from Rs 107.97 to 105.19, whereas diesel fuel costs may fall from to 109.34 to 107.11. These new costs would be appropriate from Sept 1. According to resources, these suggestions are exposed to oil costs in worldwide industry and Pakistani rupee value against money. The govt takes ultimate decision of change in oil costs and in this respect a notice is released at the end of each month.
